WELCOME TO THE DRAGON CUP

Car Park – use CF11 8AW as your Sat-Nav guide.  It will bring you to Clos Phil Dwyer (formally Clos Parc Morgannwg) off of Sloper Road.  The car park will be open from around 8am.

Seating – there is seating for around 1000 people. There is no entry fee for spectators.

Refreshments – there will be a cafe set up in our hall.

Photos – DE Photo will be present taking professional photos.  There will opportunities to buy if you so wish .

 

Schedule

Doors open 8:45am or just before.

Umpire & Coaches meeting 8:45am

Welcome speech and start of the event 9:15am

Presentation of the overall club trophy at about 5pm

 

Running Order

Little Dragons will begin at 9:15am on Rings 1-3. All 3 of their events will run on these areas.

We would expect Little Dragons to be finished by 12pm and hopefully earlier. 

 

Juniors (14-17) will begin on Ring 4 at 9:15pm. Black belts first followed by colour belts.

 

Adults (18-35) and Seniors (36+) will begin on Ring 6 at 9:15am. Black belts first followed by colour belts.

 

Cadets (7-11) and Pre-Juniors (12-13) will start with High Kick and Flying Kick on Rings 7-9. Later on, their patterns and sparring will be spread out over all rings.

 

Any Cadets and Pre-Juniors who are NOT sparring will likely be finished by 1pm. 

 

DRESS CODE

Competitors – your usual martial arts uniform

Event Staff – comfortable shoes, dark trousers (no jeans or shorts), CMA T-shirt or Hoodie (we shall lend you a red polo top on the day, where possible)

Umpires – comfortable shoes, dark trousers, white shirt and tie (we shall lend you a red polo top on the day, where possible)

Coaches – sports wear/your club wear (no shorts).
