Welcome to your first grading!

We shall ask you some questions at every Taekwon-do grading.

If you are 6, 7 or 8 years old, we’ll ask you these 5 questions:

1. Who is your instructor? Check the list below:

Mr McCabe and Miss Moore (Grangetown & St Mellons)

Mr Draper (Lisvane)

Mr Peake (Cathays & Llandaff North)

2.Which country is Taekwon-do from?

Korea

3.Demonstrate how to form a fist properly

make sure you roll fingers in first and then the thumb wraps around the fingers.

4.Can you count to 10 in Korean?

hanna, dool, set, net, tasot, yasot, ilgop, yodul, ahop, yoll

5.What does white belt signify?

innocence; I am a beginner and have never done Taekwon-do before.

If you are 9, 10 or 11 years old, we will also ask you questions from the Junior Grade 1 and Junior Grade 2 sections, so please look at those as well.
